Hi, I’m Nina Guidi, CPA, CIA — founder and principal of Nina Guidi CPA, PLLC.

My path to accounting started after four years in the U.S. Air Force and service as a county correctional officer. I later owned and operated a floral retail shop for five years, where I discovered I loved the financial side of business as much as the creative work. After running detailed projections, I made the deliberate choice to close the shop and pursue accounting full time.

I went on to support local farmers at Cornell Cooperative Extension, audit local governments and school districts for the New York State Comptroller, and build a career in internal audit across banking, insurance, renewable energy, and higher education. Since 2008, I’ve also taught accounting at all levels across New York State.

I recently returned to my entrepreneurial roots by launching this boutique CPA practice. I created Nina Guidi CPA, PLLC because I believe medical practice and contracting business owners deserve clear, high-integrity guidance so they can truly control their finances and focus on what they do best — the kind of support I wish I’d had when I ran my own business.

My practice is intentionally small and personal. Based in the Mohawk Valley, I primarily serve medical practices and contracting businesses in Herkimer and surrounding areas, with secure remote services available nationwide.
