TERMS OF SERVICE
By using this website or engaging Nina Guidi CPA, PLLC for services, you agree to the following terms. Your specific Engagement Letter governs our professional relationship and takes precedence over these general Terms of Service.
Services
All services are provided under a separate Engagement Letter. The content on this website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute formal professional advice.
Engagement Process
All new client relationships begin with a paid Diagnostic Review. This review assesses the current state of your books and allows me to provide an accurate scope of work and quote. Fifty percent (50%) of the diagnostic fee will be credited toward your first month of service or approved project if you engage my services within 30 days of receiving the report.
Software and Tools
I work exclusively with QuickBooks Online. Clients are required to maintain their own active QuickBooks Online subscription, at their own expense and in addition to my service fees. QuickBooks Online offers different subscription tiers (Simple Start, Essentials, Plus, Advanced, etc.). During the Diagnostic Review, I will assess your needs and recommend the most suitable tier and any add-on features (such as bill pay, payroll, or inventory). The final choice of tier and features is yours.
This subscription remains the client’s property and stays with them even if our professional relationship ends.
I use TaxDome, a secure, encrypted client portal, for all document sharing, communication, and file storage.
Fees and Payment
Fees are outlined in your signed Engagement Letter.
Monthly Subscriptions: Billed on the 1st of each month and automatically deducted via ACH (preferred) or charged to your credit card.
One-Time / Project Services: Due upon receipt or net 10 days unless otherwise agreed.
Preferred payment method is ACH. Credit cards may be accepted as secondary. Late payments may incur a 1.5% monthly late fee and may result in suspension of services.
Recurring Services and Termination
Monthly subscription services automatically renew each month. Either party may terminate the engagement with 15 days written notice.
I reserve the right to suspend or terminate services immediately for non-payment or repeated failure to provide necessary information. Upon termination, you are responsible for all services rendered up to the termination date. Prepaid amounts will be refunded on a pro-rated basis, less outstanding balances.
Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information in a timely manner. You are responsible for the accuracy of all data and documents you provide.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Nina Guidi CPA, PLLC’s liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific services giving rise to the claim. We cannot guarantee specific financial outcomes or tax savings.
Confidentiality
We maintain strict confidentiality of your information, subject to legal requirements.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Continued use of our website or services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
